Briefly introduce some advantages of DTH drill bits

The front lip surface of the drill bit is a flat bottom shape, and after one or several drilling operations, the lip surface will wear and form multiple concentric circular teeth (grooves). During the drilling process, as the drill bit wears and consumes, the concentric circular teeth (grooves) will gradually extend and be maintained until the drill bit is completely worn out.

Since the lip surface of the drill bit can always maintain the formation of concentric circular teeth (grooves), multiple rock ridges are formed on the corresponding rock surface. Due to the effects of compression, shear and other factors, the rock ridges will form a large number of micro-cracks. Under the vibration and impact of the drilling tool, the rock ridges will break into blocks and particles, forming volume fragmentation. Therefore, it greatly improves the drilling efficiency and prolongs the service life of the drill bit. Multiple test results have shown that the drilling speed is about 50% higher and the service life is about 30% longer than those of similar drill bits.

Since the lip surface of the DTH drill bit can always maintain the concentric teeth (grooves), multiple concave and convex concentric circular tracks are formed on the bottom of the hole during the drilling process. Therefore, it can play a good guiding role and effectively prevent the deviation of the borehole, thus greatly improving the drilling quality.

During the drilling process, DTH drill bits reduce vibrations more effectively than ordinary drill bits, making the drilling machine more stable.

DTH drill bits can improve efficiency and prolong service life, and can be more widely used in drilling various types of rock formations.

Multiple tests and practical applications have shown that the comprehensive drilling cost of this drill bit can be reduced by about 30%.
