The drilling method of diamond drill bit has replaced the traditional inefficient manual well drilling. The water below the water level is called groundwater, which is formed by the water at the surface of the ground through penetration into the ground. Water on the ground includes rivers, rivers, lakes and other water resources. To transport groundwater to the surface by pumping pressure, it is necessary to drill Wells. In-depth understanding of groundwater and its types is of great help to successful well drilling.
Groundwater exists in the space between underground rocks or soil, and can be divided into three types: upper layer water, submersible water and confined water.
1. Upper water
The water closest to the surface is in direct contact with the atmosphere and the water on the surface. The water in this layer can exchange substances directly with substances on the ground and is not suitable for direct drinking. It is the gravity water above the local aquifer in the saturated air zone, generally not widely distributed. It is the groundwater that is blocked by the local aquifer when the precipitation or surface water penetrates. This water has a direct relationship with the season and climate.
2. Diving
The water layer above the completely impermeable rock or soil layer, which interacts directly with the water above, is also susceptible to pollution from the surface environment. The advantage of this layer of water is that it is relatively easy to access. In most areas, this layer of water is obtained by manually drilling Wells, which do not require diamond drill bits to drill into rock or soil.
3. Confined water
Confined water is a water layer filled between two aquifer layers. Due to the blockage of the aquifer layer, the surface pollution substances can not completely penetrate into the water layer, so it is relatively healthy to use this kind of water source. Hydrogeological drilling involves extracting such water by drilling a diamond bit through the barrier and pumping it to the surface for irrigation.
Because the geological drilling rig uses the gold diamond drill bit to drill Wells to reach the confined water layer, the sign of judging whether the water supply can be stable is that when the drill drills into the water layer, there will be relatively large water pressure overflow from the orifice, the main reason is that the confined water is in a relatively closed space with high water pressure. Therefore, the well master will be happy to see the water in the hole after the scene, once again completed the well drilling task.
