Factors that determine wear resistance of diamond composite bit

Diamond composite bit is so widely used, mainly because it has unmatched superior properties of other materials compound fertilizer equipment. Diamond composite bit has high hardness and wear resistance (wear ratio). The hardness of composite sheet is as high as 10000HV, which is the hardest material in the man-made material in the world at present. The hardness of cement ball mill is much higher than that of hard alloy and engineering ceramics.

With such a hard material made of the drill, can the drill product not wear? Heat resistance stability refers to the stability of the chemical properties of the polycrystalline layer (the degree of diamond inking), the change of macroscopic mechanical properties and the influence on the bonding firmness of the interface of the composite layer after heating to a certain temperature in the atmospheric environment (the presence of oxygen). Changes in thermal stability after sintering at 750℃, some domestic manufacturers' products show that the wear ratio rises by 5%~20%, the impact toughness changes little, some manufacturers' products wear ratio decreases, the impact resistance declines, which is related to the different formulations and processes used by each unit.

Wear resistance: The wear resistance of composite sheet is generally measured by the index of wear ratio, but so far there is no unified test standard in the world, several major PDC producing countries have their own test methods ultrafine mill. These contents are the main factors that determine whether the diamond composite bit is wear-resistant.

In order to make the diamond bit more wear-resistant, we must pay attention to the composite sheet raw materials and production process!
