1. Structural characteristics
Polycrystalline diamond cutter alloy bit is simply PDC bit, PDC bit is composed of bit body and cutter.
(1) Drill body. There are two types of drill body: hard alloy body and steel body.
The hard alloy body is precision-cast in the alloy die. The cylindrical cutters are welded to the bit body and the diameter position is welded to the diamond.The steel body bit is made of nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloy steel. After heat treatment, the drill is drilled on the bit body. The pillar cutter is inserted into the hole, and the diameter position is inserted with button-shaped hard alloy.
(2) cutting teeth. Depending on the formation being drilled and the appearance of the alloy bit, the shape, number and sequencing of the cutters on the alloy bit are also different.
Its cutting edge is made of thin layer of artificial polycrystalline diamond bonded on tungsten carbide substrate by ultra-high pressure and high temperature. Polycrystalline diamond sheet is made of artificial diamond of many small crystals closely combined with different standards and different directions. Its wear resistance is very good.
